| Subject: Jungian archetypes Thu 24 Nov 2011 - 18:14 | |
| According to psychiatrist Carl Jung, archetypes are innate universal psychic dispositions that form the substrate from which the basic symbols or representations of unconscious experience emerge. According to Jung there are four universal archetypes: Mother, Rebirth, Spirit, and Trickster (or Devil).[1] §→"The archetype is a tendency to form such representations of a motif - representations that can vary a great deal in detail without losing their basic pattern ... They are indeed an instinctive trend".[2] Thus for example "the archetype of initiation is strongly activated to provide a meaningful transition ... with a 'rite of passage' from one stage of life to the next":[3] such stages may include being parented, initiation, courtship, marriage and preparation for death.[4] Altbauwohnung Frankfurt Westend kaufenconstruction estimating software | |
